AKIPRESS.COM - Police officers dressed in civilian clothing were working during disorders in Bishkek, Interior Ministry's Public Security Service representative Ulan Rysbekov said.
"Some of them received injuries. We ask those who received minor injuries to return to work. Police should be with people, citizen patrols.. You know there are certain fears," he said.
"We want the government to be formed quickly and all respective laws to be passed," he said.
Police must and are ready to escort all parliamentarians, Rysbekov added.
"They say MPs receive threats and this is why they can't convene for the session. No matter where an MP lives, police must and are ready to accompany all MPs," he said.
MP Anvar Artykov told AKIpress many parliamentarians fear now to come to the session, since they are pressured.
He said lawmakers received life threats.
