National Security Committee makes statement on current situation in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The State National Security Committee made a statement in connection with the current situation in Kyrgyzstan.
"The complex socio-political situation in Kyrgyzstan has turned into chaos. The State National Security Committee together with defense and law enforcement agencies are working to suppress provocations by destructive forces," the statement said.
The actions are undertaken to prevent use of criminal groups in takeover of property, government-owned and private entities.
The State National Security Committee urged citizens to consolidate for the sake of stabilization of the socio-political situation.
"The State National Security Committee urges all parties - MPs, leaders of political parties, youth movements, public organizations - to seat to the table of negotiations and reach consensus on the soonest establishment of the legitimate power institutes. Defense and law enforcement agencies are beyond politics, there are enough forces and resources to control situation," the statement said.
