President Jeenbekov: Kyrgyzstan on brink of danger

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today addressed the nation on occasion of the situation in Kyrgyzstan.
"Due to immense ambitions of some politicians, the peaceful life of our citizens and tranquility in the country were threatened. In addition to political calls, the provocative calls undermining unity of the country and peaceful life of the society were made. Kyrgyzstan is on the brink of danger," the President said in his address.
"The peaceful life of our citizens should not be sacrificed to political passions. This is why the state of emergency was declared in Bishkek," the President said.
"Within my constitutional powers I will make all possible to keep the peaceful life of citizens and integrity of the country. I am convinced that all sound forces will fully support me. Today we all see a real threat to our statehood. We will not just watch aside and will find the way out of these difficult days together!" the President said.
