Myktybek Abdyldayev steps down as Parliament Speaker

AKIPRESS.COM - Myktybek Abdyldayev resigned as Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan at today's extraordinary session of the Parliament. Abdyldayev said some parliamentarians questioned legitimacy of his election as Speaker, for this reason he resigns.
The session was continued by Vice Mirlan Bakirov, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan party leader.
Myktybek Abdyldayev was elected Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan at the extraordinary session of the Parliament on October 6 in Dostuk Hotel with around 30 MPs in attendance. He was elected with proxies provided by other lawmakers.
