Jalal-Abad region lacks over 180 medical workers

AKIPRESS.COM - Shortage of medical workers in Jalal-Abad region makes 184, deputy director of regional family medicine center Gulnara Mamatalieva said. The region mainly needs intensivists, infectious disease specialists, pediatricians, she said.
"184 medical workers are needed. Shortage of medical workers is mainly observed in remote Chatkal, Aksy, Toguz-Toro districts, Tash-Kumyr and Kara-Kul," she said.
"We visit medical schools and invite graduates to work in remote regions. 28 young doctors signed contracts this year to work in remote districts," Gulnara Mamatalieva stated.
