COVID-19 situation in Bishkek worsening, number of new cases increased 5 times

AKIPRESS.COM - Epidemiological situation in Bishkek is worsening, said deputy mayor Victoria Mozgacheva on Oct 12 urging citizens to follow health advices. The number of patients is growing, cases of coronavirus confirmed by laboratory are growing. Outbreaks of infection are registered every day when the whole family gets sick.
"In addition, the number of acute respiratory infections is growing due to the cold weather," she explained.
Mayor Aziz Surakmatov said Bishkek reported 59 new cases today, which is 5 times more than in the last 2-3 weeks.
Surakmatov said it is necessary to follow sanitary rules and keep safe distances.
