Kyrgyz Education Ministry suggests reopening of schools depending upon COVID-19 situation

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education and Science is working on resumption of traditional learning process at schools, Minister Kanybek Isakov said at the government meeting on October 13.
Reopening of schools is suggested depending upon COVID-19 situation and in view of possibility of schools to arrange social distancing between students.
"In such case decision of local authorities is needed. Schools will remain under strict observation of the Disease and Epidemiological Control Department and the Ministry of Health," Minister Isakov said.
Culture Minister Azamat Jamankulov suggested reopening of cultural institutions in Bishkek.
Labor and Social Development Minister Ulukbek Kochkorov said all social payments will be made timely.
Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova tasked heads of government agencies to promptly address tasks and submit proposals on solving existing problems in their spheres within 2 days.
