President Jeenbekov to return resolution approving Sadyr Japarov as PM to Parliament

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today met with Sadyr Japarov to discuss the current socio-political situation in the country, the president's press service reported.
President Jeenbekov voiced his positions on resolutions of the Parliament approving the program, structure and composition of the government. Sooronbai Jeenbekov said he will return the resolutions back to the Parliament.
"All decisions should be legitimate and should not be subject to doubts for the sake of stability in the country," President Jeenbekov said.
The President intends to ask the Parliament to consider this issue with respect of all requirements of the effective national legislation.
The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved Sadyr Japarov as Prime Minister, composition, structure and program of the government at the extraordinary session of the Parliament on October 10.
Vice Speaker Mirlan Bakirov signed the resolution of the Parliament approving Sadyr Japarov as Prime Minister and his government on October 12. The same day the resolution arrived in the President's Administration.
Some parliamentarians, lawyers and experts questioned legitimacy of the session as the quorum was not met and procedural rules were violatedy, they said.
