AKIPRESS.COM - Russian President Vladimir Putin is provided a detailed report on the situation in Kyrgyzstan on a regular basis, including results of Deputy Chief of Staff of Russian President's Office Dmitry Kozak's recent trip to there, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
"Russia stands for the development of the current situation in Kyrgyzstan staying in the constitutional order. Kyrgyzstan is our partner and we value our bilateral relations. Therefore, we want the situation there to stabilize as soon as possible and not turn into chaos," Peskov said.
On October 13, Kozak arrived in Bishkek by Putin's order. He reportedly met with President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov.
