AKIPRESS.COM - Janybek Jalalov was appointed as new governor of Batken region by Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov on October 16. On October 17 the Prime Minister's adviser Arzybek Burkanov, former governor of Batken region, presented the new head of the region to the administration staff.
Jalalov replaced Alisher Abdrakhmanov.
Earlier Jalalov worked as the mayor of Batken town from February 2013 to February 2016.
