Export of ore and concentrates of precious metals grew by 6%

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $3.5 billion in January-August 2020 and decreased by 22.1% year on year, according to the National Statistics Committee. Exports since the beginning of the year increased by 3.5% amounting to $1,264.3 million.
The increase in exports was due to the growth in export of gold by 36.7%, the share of which in total exports of Kyrgyzstan increased from 40.3 to 53.2 percentage points.
Exports of ore and precious metal concentrates grew by 6%.
