Export of clothes and clothing accessories decreased by 1.6 times

AKIPRESS.COM - During 8 months of 2020 export of clothes and clothing accessories decreased by 1.6 times, cotton fibers - by 1.5 times.
The foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $3.5 billion in January-August 2020 and decreased by 22.1% year on year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Exports increased by 3.5% amounting to $1,264.3 million. The increase in exports was achieved by growth in export of gold by 36.7%, the share of which in total exports of Kyrgyzstan increased from 40.3 to 53.2 percentage points. Exports of ore and precious metal concentrates grew by 6%.
