AKIPRESS.COM - Aziz Surakmatov explained why he decided to resign as Bishkek city mayor.
He said he will run for parliament seat.
Surakmatov explained why he appointed ex-Bishkek mayor Nariman Tuleyev as the first deputy mayor.
"We worked together in the parliament, we were MPs from one faction. I negotiated with him for 4 days, he refused me for a long time. But today at 12 am he agreed," said Surakmatov.
