A criminal caught in Kara-Suu

AKIPRESS.COM - A criminal was detained in Osh region on suspicion of extortion, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported and released a video of detention on October 21. The detainee has been extorting 100,000 soms or land plot from a local resident for several months. The extortion victim reported to the police, and probe into extortion was launched.
On October 20 special troops detained a racketeer when receiving part of extorted amount (10000 soms) in Kara-Suu district of Osh region. He was identified as a 34-year-old resident of Osh region registered as member of organized crime gang.
The man had previously been tried in Russia for robbery and has a previous criminal record.
