Kyrgyzstan's import of pharmaceutical products increased by 3.9% in 8 months

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign trade turnover amounted to $3.5 billion in January-August 2020 and decreased by 22.1% year on year, said the National Statistics Committee. Imports decreased by 31.6% amounting to $2,232.5 million.
The decrease in imports compared to January-August 2019 was due to a 16.7% decrease in the import of tobacco and tobacco products.
At the same time, the import of pharmaceutical products increased by 3.9%.
