Japarov appoints Balbak Tulobaev acting mayor of Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Balbak Tulobaev has been appointed acting mayor of Bishkek. The respective order was signed by Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov.
Tulobaev was introduced to the staff on October 27 by Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office Bakyt Amanbaev.
"I will work until eleciton of a new mayor. I urge everyone to continue their work. The main task is to prepare for winter and continue fight against COVID-19," he said.
He asked citizens to calm down. "We will work for the benefit of the city," he said.
Tulobaev, 48, he held the post of the chief of staff of mayor's office of Bishkek in 2018-2020. He held the post of Issyk-Kul region governor for the past 3 months.
