Kyrgyz Ambassador, Secretary General of Chinese Overseas Development Association discuss visit of Chinese companies to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to China Kanaiym Baktygulova met with the Secretary General of the Chinese Overseas Development Association under the state National Development and Reform Committee of China Mr. He Zhenwei on October 26, the Foreign Ministry said. Baktygulova told about the stabilization of the current political situation in Kyrgyzstan and underlined that at present, with the return of the political situation to the legal order, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, all state and administrative authorities are working normally. She emphasized that China remains one of the main trade and investment partners of Kyrgyzstan. She noted the continuation of work by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on creation of the favorable conditions for attracting foreign investment to the country's economy.
Parties discussed the organization of the visit of the delegation of Chinese companies to Kyrgyzstan headed by the Chinese Overseas Development Association under the State National Development and Reform Committee of the PRC to study the investment climate in the country, discuss joint investment projects in various fields.
Secretary General He Zhenwei expressed readiness to form a delegation of Chinese companies to organize the visit to Kyrgyzstan as the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic stabilizes.
Both sides agreed to maintain working contacts for the development of cooperation.
