Aftermath of Jerooy gold mine attack

AKIPRESS.COM - The investigation into disorders and theft at the Jerooy gold mine is ongoing, Talas region police department reported.
The pre-trial investigation was launched following the mine attack.
A group of unknown people intruded into the Jerooy gold mining enterprise in Talas region on Oct 6 at around 11 am. In the evening of that day, looting was reported in the mine. A group of unknown people in cars were seen taking property out of the territory of the Alliance Altyn company.
The developer Alliance Altyn company's press office said several dozens of people stormed the territory of the company and captured the mine on Oct 6. The group of people robbed the warehouse and set the office building of the gold recovery plant on fire. Truck windows were broken. Eyewitnesses filmed on video how a group of citizens loaded washing machines into cars.
