Reopening of schools in Kyrgyzstan still studied

AKIPRESS.COM - "Reopening of schools is studied comprehensively," Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev told a press conference in Bishkek.
He said reopening of schools will be considered in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, local self-government bodies.
"We can't reintroduce lockdown, since this will undermine economy. All restrictions are thoroughly studied at the meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment. However, timely introduction of lockdowns and restrictions allowed hospitals to prepare for coronavirus wave and to purchase medicines," the Deputy Health Minister said.
