AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and Ukraine set to boost bilateral trade to $1 billion a year in near future.
The ways to broaden and diversify bilateral trade were discussed at the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov and Ambassador of Ukraine to Uzberkistan Nikolay Doroshenko.
The sides noted significant prospects of cooperation in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, metallurgical industries and information technologies.
The countries also plan to intensify cooperation in agriculture, setting up joint agroindustrial enterprises for cultivation and processing of agricultural crops.
