AKIPRESS.COM - It is hard for public schools to compete with private schools in Kyrgyzstan, where quality of provided education corresponds to tuition, Minister of Education and Science Almazbek Beishenaliev said.
Private schools have better supplies and infrastructure, teachers use creative approaches to their work there, he added.
"Public schools have to hold a tender to buy something. They have numerous checks, public discussions. For this reasons school administrators can't be flexible. The public schools can't even make repair on their own, they need to undergo certain procedures. Hence, public and private schools can't compete," the Minister said.
