Ministry of Finance forecasts reduction of consumption share to 96.9-97.9% of GDP in 2020-2022

AKIPRESS.COM - For the second time the government made changes to the law state budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020 and the forecast for 2021-2022. According to the changes, the share of consumption in the GDP in 2020-2022 (2020 - 96.9%, 2021 - 97.5%, 2022 - 97.9%) is projected to decrease against the previously approved budget (2020 - 98%, 2021 - 98.4%, 2022 - 98.8%).
Private consumption is expected to decline in 2021-2022.
The share of public consumption in 2020-2022 will be 17.8% of GDP, 17.4% of GDP and 17% of GDP.
Private consumption will decrease to 79.1% of GDP in 2020, 80.1% in 2021 and 80.9% in 2022.
