AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has shortage of doctors, Deputy Prime Minister Elvira Surabaldieva said at the session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan today.
The doctor supply rate makes 85%, she said.
Jalal-Abad region lacks 166 doctors, Osh region - 154 doctors, Chui region - 204 doctors, Bishkek - 169 doctors.
There are 13,709 medical workers in total in Kyrgyzstan. 22% of them reached pension age.
