AKIPRESS.COM - Negotiations on imports of 500 million kWh from Kazakhstan are nearing completion, said technical director of the Electric Stations JSC Altynbek Aitikeev. Importing this amount will save water in Toktogul reservoir, he said.
This year Toktogul reservoir has accumulated 2 billion cubic meters less water than last year, he said.
"But there will be enough water for this year, there will be no blackouts," he said.
