AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz Republic welcomes the signing of the trilateral statement by the President of Azerbaijan, Prime Minister of Armenia and President of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said in a statement on November 11.
Bishkek welcomed the end of military phase of the conflict with Russia's assistance and moving to political settlement of the crisis.
"We hope for the reached agreements' creation of basis for long-term and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh crisis," the statement said.
On November 10, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on end of Nagorno-Karabakh war. The declaration has followed six weeks of heavy fighting and advancement by the Azerbaijan's forces. Baku said on Monday it had seized dozens more settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh, a day after proclaiming victory in the battle for the enclave's strategically positioned second-largest city.
