Japarov to relinquish presidential duties, to be suspended in PM's office to run in presidential elections

AKIPRESS.COM - Acting President and Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov said he would relinquish presidential duties to run in the snap presidential elections. He told a press conference today.
The Parliament Speaker [Talant Mamytov] will automatically become acting President, he said.
"The prime minister's duties will be suspended due to elections. The prime minister's duties will be performed by First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov," Japarov said.
