AKIPRESS.COM - Central Election Commission Vice Chairman Abdyjapar Bekmatov urged citizens of Kyrgyzstan to get registered at the place of their residence.
He said use of the form #2 allowing citizens to vote outside their home regions aroused lots of questions in the past parliamentary elections.
"Citizens won't be allowed to vote with use of the form #2 now inside Kyrgyzstan. Citizens have 2 months to be registered at the place of their residence. This should be done not only for elections, but in line with the law on internal migration: citizens should be registered in case they change their place of residence for more than 45 days," the Central Election Commission Vice Chairman stated.
