AKIPRESS.COM - The border village of Chechme, Kadamjai district, Batken region, finally got electricity.
The village borders with Uzbekistan. Some residents had to use electricity from the neighboring village, since the power poles in the village were outdated and could not be used until the recent time.
Local council memer Sydykbek Kalamov said 30 power poles in the village were installed in 1968 by villagers. They were usable just for 10 years.
The village is now fully supplied with electricity, district power company chief engineer Akylbek Karataev said.
