AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of some social facilities was halted due to budget deficit, acting Prime Minister Artem Novikov said in Parliament today.
Construction of 380 social facilities, hospitals and schools among them, is ongoing now, he said.
"Besides, schools are constructed on funding from the Saudi Fund for Development. Next year we plan to inaugurate as many facilities as possible," Novikov said.
The volume of strarted construction of social facilities and infrastructure makes around 15 billion soms, he added.
"The current situation does not allow to provide financing for all facilities. For this reason construction of some facilities was suspended. We will provide financing next year," Novikov said.
