Kyrgyz govrnment has banned New Year corporate parties due to Covid-19

AKIPRESS.COM - The ban on New Year corporate parties has been imposed, Deputy Prime Minister Elvira Surabaldieva told a press briefing today.
She explained lots of people gather at such events, safe distance is not kept and masks are not worn.
"This ban will affect government officials particularly. We think corporate events should not be held at all. Respective directives were sent to government agencies, local government bodies," she said.
The emergency situation due to coronavirus pandemic is still in effect in Kyrgyzstan.
Quarantine restrictions remain effective in Bishkek.
