Maternity hospital inaugurated in Aravan district of Osh region

AKIPRESS.COM - A maternity hospital was inaugurated in Alla Anarov rural municipality, Aravan district of Osh region on November 26. Construction of the hospital cost 100 million soms.
Construction of a 2-floor building started in May 2019 and finished in November 2020.
This is 38-bed hospital. It has operating room, intensive care unit for preterm babies. The hospital has all necessary medical equipment, furniture and supplies.
The previous building of the maternity hospital was in dilapidated condition, chief of Aravan district hospital Usmanjan Mamajanov said.
"Last year we asked support from investors. They helped us and we have a new maternity hospital now. More than 40 people work in the maternity hospital," the hospital chief said.
