New draft of Constitution to have article on Kyrgyz president's personal responsibility

AKIPRESS.COM - Member of the constitutional convention Dr. Bolot Toktobaev, chair of the department of theory and history of state and law at the Kyrgyz National University, said what suggestions will be included into the draft of a new Constitution.
"We considered a personal responsibility of the president. Since the president is head of the executive branch of power, responsibility should be foreseen. We have voted just now that the president will bear personal responsibility as the head of executive branch of power for government's work. We have included this moment into the draft of a new Constitution," Bolot Toktobaev said.
He has not elaborated on what kind of responsibility the president will have exactly.
