AKIPRESS.COM - Daniyar Shakirbayev was elected mayor of Kara-Balta town in Chuy region. The election of the new mayor was held on November 30 with the participation of members of the town council.
They considered two candidates - Shakirbaev and Taalaibek Suyumbayev.
18 members of the local council voted for Shakirbaev and 13 for Suyumbayev.
