Russia does a lot to support Kyrgyzstan, Putin says

AKIPRESS.COM - Russia was anxiously following the political situation in Kyrgyzstan, said Russian President Vladimir Putin addressing the acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic Talant Mamytov on December 2 at the CSTO summit held online.
"I want to express my satisfaction that the situation is stabilizing. We also closely monitor your position regarding meeting your international commitments. We are pleased to state that Kyrgyzstan's position regarding the Eurasian Economic Union and CSTO has not changed. This is extremely important including for the stability of Kyrgyzstan," he said.
Putin noted that Russia does a lot support the Kyrgyz economy and social life, and expects that joint work will continue. He admitted that it's impossible without internal stability.
"We're interested in highest level the elections, both to parliament and presidential, in compliance with constitution and the electoral law. We will support you in further stabilization of the situation and active work in mentioned directions. We wish you success," Putin said.
