7,558 citizens registered their biometric information for a month in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 3,551,961 citizens have registered their biometric information as of December 7 in Kyrgyzstan, State Registration Service Vice Chair Ainura Tuibaeva said.
As of November 10, some 3.544 million citizens registered their biometric information. 7,558 citizens registered this information for a month, she said.
"Citizens realize they won't be able to vote in the coming elections if they do not register their biometric information," she said.
The snap presidential elections were scheduled for January 10, 2021. Kyrgyzstan uses biometric voter identification during elections.
