Activists picket Kyrgyz parliament demanding its dissolution

AKIPRESS.COM - Civil activists are picketing the Kyrgyz Parliament since this morning.
Standing in line at the entrance with posters condemning the Parliament, activists protest against adoption of the draft law on referendum in the first reading.
The protesters met lawmakers entering the building with slogans: "Leave!" "We do not need such Parliament!"
Activist Ondurush Toktonasyrov called the Parliament criminal, as lawmakers made some decisions violating laws. "Their term expired on October 28. They do not have right to make such important decisions," the activist said.
Activists say the parliament should dissolve.
Another activist Rita Karasartova said the aim of their protest is to tell lawmakers they are illegitimate. "Their term expired in October, but they adopt laws harmful to Kyrgyzstan. The best what they can do is dissolution," the activist said.
