AKIPRESS.COM - "We find money for referendum allegedly for people, but do not have money for vulnerable groups of population," MP Dastan Bekeshev said in Parliament today. The government can't find 5 million soms for several years for services of sign language interpreters for deaf citizens, the MP said.
"We have the council for persons with disabilities. We ratified the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities a year ago. What sense in talking if there is no money for its implementation," the MP said.
Deputy Prime Minister Elvira Surabaldieva said 5 million soms the MP was talking about were included into the budget.
