Uzbekistan prohibits New Year corporate parties

AKIPRESS.COM - A special commission for coronavirus infection containment has prohibited ministries, agencies and enterprises with government stakes and other organizations to hold New Year corporate parties.
The funds saved on these parties are recommended to be directed for support of education, healthcare, orphanages and other social projects.
This prohibition does not apply to New Year celebrations in restaurants, cafes and other public catering facilities with no more than 30 people in attendance in strict compliance with Covid-19 protocols.
Indoor New Year celebrations are prohibited in kindergartens, schools and universities for children and students.
Citizens are recommended to celebrate New Year with their families.
The President's New Year party this year will be organized for children from orphanages and social villages only.
New Year trees will be installed in towns and centers of the regions outdoors.
