AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Erik Beishembiev met with Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev on December 9 to discuss the situation with inclusion of several medical schools of Kyrgyzstan into the black list by Pakistan Medical Commission.
Improvement of the quality of education in universities of Kyrgyzstan, upgrade of their resources and supplies, other issues were discussed during this meeting.
The sides agreed the control over study of foreign students and criteria for selection of such students need to be tightened.
The proposals of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan on improvement of the current situation will be sent to Pakistan Medical Commission for consideration.
Four medical schools of Kyrgyzstan were removed from the black list of colleges assessed and refused recognition after they failed to meet the mandatory criteria determined by Council, according to Pakistan Medical Commission.
12 medical schools still remain in the black list.
