Kyrgyz Emergency Ministry to receive vehicles and fire fighting equipment from international partners

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Ajikeyev met with General Director of the National Red Crescent Society Chingiz Jakipov to discuss the project aimed to increase capacity in emergency situations response at the local level in Kyrgyzstan.
Vehicles and supplies will be provided to the Ministry of Emergency Situations under this project to increase its capacity.
The National Red Crescent Society handed over 4 diving sets to the scuba rescue services in Talas region and in Balykchy.
The project aimed to increase capacity in timely response to emergency situations at local level in Kyrgyzstan was developed with support of the regional office of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Russia in partnership with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The project envisions purchase of 30 Niva off-road vehicles, 15 fire trucks and professional drones.
