Ashgabat university students to be tested for COVID-19 after hospitalization of 3 students with fever

AKIPRESS.COM - On the evening of December 11 three junior students of the State Institute of Culture were taken from the dormitory by ambulance with high body temperature, Chronicles of Turkmenistan reports.
In the morning of December 14, dean Amanmyrat Aidogdiyev reportedly warned the teachers that the students and staff living in the dormitory have to pass the test for COVID-19.
Classes were not cancelled fearing that otherwise it might cause panic among the university's students, a source told Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
So far Turkmenistan has not reported any confirmed COVID-19 case.
