Counterfeit US dollar distribution channel foiled: National Security Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - A 51-year-old woman was detained for counterfeiting money on a particularly large scale, the National Security Committee said.
The suspect was detained on December 14 in Bishkek as part of the operation to ensure the country's economic security and counter counterfeit money.
The seized cash had a high quality and were counterfeited in one of the Middle Eastern countries with the purpose of distribution.
The detainee was taken to the National Security Committee detention facility. Investigation is underway.
