Trade turnover of EAEU countries with Uzbekistan increased by 4.9% in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - In 2016-2019, the trade turnover of the Eurasian Economic Union countries with Uzbekistan increased three times and by 4.9% in 2020, said chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich during a meeting with Ambassador of Uzbekistan Botirjon Asadov.
Uzbekistan is following with great interest the activities of the Eurasian Economic Union and the development of the integration.
"We hope that Uzbekistan's observer status in the EAEU will make it possible to reach a new level of dialogue and cooperation," he said.
The parties agreed to prepare a joint memorandum on cooperation.
Uzbekistan received the status of an observer state in the EAEU on December 11.
