Tajikistan exports electricity for over $4.7 million in autumn

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajikistan exported electricity for over $4.7 million in September-November.
The country encountered power outages in some regions since September. Starting since October, power outages became massive, Avesta.tj reported.
Power outages were explained with repair, which lasted until December 10, when reliable electricity supply resumed.
The national energy holding Barqi Tochik denied electricity rationing, it said the lines are repaired for the upcoming winter.
Tajikistan earned more than $53 million on electricity export to the neighboring countries for 11 months of this year. This is 41.9% fall year-on-year.
Tajikistan exported electricity to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan.
More than 17.7 billion kWh of electricity were produced in 11 months of this year, which is 5.3% less than in the previous year.
Over 16.3 million kWh were generated by hydropower plants, more than 1.3 million kWh were produced by thermal power plants.
