2 modular hospitals funded by Uzbekistan inagurated in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Two modular hospitals were inaugurated on December 29 in Bishkek, one 176-bed hospital in National Hospital and and a 24-bed hospital in Chui Region Hospital.
The hospitals were erected for less than a month and were entirely financed by the government of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan said.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Kyrgyz Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and the delegation of Uzbekistan led by Advisor to Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Mehriddin Hairiddinov.
"Uzbekistan is one of first countries that provided support to Kyrgyzstan for Covid-19 response. The neighboring country sent oxygen concentrators, respirators and other medical supplies and light modular structures for 400 beds," Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
A 200-bed hospital erected with support of Uzbekistan was earlier inaugurated in Kadamjai district of Batken region.
The hospitals in Bishkek, Chui and Batken regions are fully equipped with necessary medical eqipment and furniture.
