AKIPRESS.COM - Resumption of traditional classes in schools remains a big issue, Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told a press briefing today.
1,988 coronavirus cases were registered among school students, including 48 cases in September, 315 in October, 320 in November, 202 in December.
"Only one coronavirus case was linked with school attendance. This case was registered in Batken region," the Health Minister said.
In most cases children have mild coronavirus symptoms, the Minister added.
No lethal cases from coronavirus infection were registered among children, he said.
