5,700 automated ballot boxes prepared across Kyrgyzstan for early presidential elections and referendum

AKIPRESS.COM - Each polling station will have two automated ballot boxes each on the day of vote in the early presidential elections and the referendum on government system, Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova said at the government meeting on January 6.
Presidential election ballots will be cast in one box and the referendum ballots will be cast into another automated ballot box, she said.
5,700 automated ballot boxes were prepared in total. This includes reserve 900 boxes, which will be distributed between polling stations. Ballot boxes may be replaced in case of technical failures.
All ballot boxes were tested and prepared, the CEC Chair said.
