Voter turnout in Kyrgyzstan's referendum makes 2.78% as of 10.00 a.m.

AKIPRESS.COM - Voter turnout in the referendum on presidential vs parliamentary systems has made 2.78% as of 10.00 a.m. - 98,894 people have voted.
The voter list includes 3,563,574 voters.
The turnout by regions:
- Bishkek - 2.91% (12,093);
- Osh - 7% (11,458);
- Jalal-Abad region - 2.78% (18,533);
- Issyk-Kul region - 2.64% (8,123);
- Naryn region - 2.74% (5,533);
- Osh region - 2.7% (19,524);
- Talas region - 2.4% (3,785);
- Chui region - 2.15% (12,732);
- Batken region - 2.39% (7,093).
"For comparison, more than 6% of voters have voted in the past 4 October parliamentary elections by 10.00 a.m. However, the voter turnout in parliamentary elections is always higher," Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova said.
