AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Election Commission decided to issue warning to the public service broadcaster KTRK, CEC member Gulnara Jurabaeva told a press conference.
"There were complaints about unequal conditions from one of campaigning groups for the referendum. The working group studied the complaints. We invited a representative of KTRK, which was supposed to provide free air time for all groups. The working group made the decision that warning should be issued to KTRK," Gulnara Jurabaeva said.
Gulnara Jurabaeva expressed hope medial outlets would consider format of their work thoroughly. "We suggest to add the provision that formats of debates should be agreed on with the Central Election Commission," she said.
The Commission has accredited 219 media organizations in total, including 56 TV channels, 28 radio stations, 61 print media, 72 news websites.
