Japarov: 'I will rule myself, without friends and relatives'

AKIPRESS.COM - "I will rule myself," Sadyr Japarov told reporters on January 10.
Japarov said the first President of Kyrgyzstan remained in power for 15 years. He worked well the first 5 years and then fell under influence of those surrounding him.
"The second President demonstrated good results 2-3 years, but then his cronies began ruling. The next President had moments when the country was ruled by his drivers, aides," Japarov said.
"I will not make such mistakes. We learnt lessons. I will rule on my own for the period I will be in power. My friends, drivers, aides and relatives won't rule," he added.
